GRRL provides access to a eBooks from several sources:

Great River Digital Library with Overdrive

GRRL residents* with a valid library card can download eBooks to a variety of devices and computers, and "My Help!" makes it easy to discover and learn to use the device that works for you. New titles are added regularly, and there is a mobile site for phones and other connected mobile devices to download directly. Project Gutenberg titles are also available.

* Residents of Benton, Morrison Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties are eligible for this service with a valid GRRL Library Card. All charges on a library card account must be paid before accessing the service. Credit card payment options are available.

ELM: The Electronic Library for Minnesota (www.elm4you.org)

The Electronic Library for Minnesota gives Minnesota residents access to a variety of online information resources, including eBooks.

Click the link above or type the address into your browser*

Click the Content Type tab

Select eBooks from the drop-down menu

Click Go

Click the eBook Collection link and start exploring!

*If you are using ELM from home, you will be asked for your GRRL library barcode and PIN number.

If you are a reciprocal borrower at GRRL you will not be able to access eBooks & Downloadable Audiobooks because of contract limitations with OverDrive. A number of Minnesota Library systems do offer eBook and/or eAudiobook services to their residents.
