Great River Regional Library (GRRL) offers more than 50 online databases to help you find reliable information. They give you access to the complete and authoritative text of thousands of magazines, journals, transcripts and content developed especially for the web. For databases of articles, check the appropriate box on the search page to limit results to full text or peer reviewed articles. Many of these copyrighted resources cannot be found using popular Internet search engines, but they are accessible to GRRL cardholders from a home computer at any time of the day or night. If you are using a computer outside the library you may be prompted to enter your library barcode number and PIN. If you're not sure what resource to use you can search by category. Resources include:
- Tumblebooks - Picture books online
- NoveList Plus - Linked also within the library catalog
- LearningExpress Library - Practice tests, job & career help
- Ancestry for Libraries - Genealogy information
- Pronunciator - Language learning software
You also have access to a wide variety of resources through the Electronic Library of Minnesota (ELM) using any valid Minnesota Public Library card.
The library catalog shows you library materials including links to eBooks and eAudiobooks.
Lists of the New, Best & Fun materials added to the collection give you so many options for what to read, listen to or view next.
