Use your registered library card to download eBooks and eAudiobooks to a variety of devices and computers including Kindle PaperWhite. Content can be accessed through the website or via the Libby app available in the Apple and/or Google Play store.

Reading with Kindles

  • As of 2/23/22, the OverDrive app will no longer be available from Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the Microsoft Store. The app will no longer be updated or supported. Current users of the OverDrive app should download and switch to the Libby app instead.
  • Kindle Fire users can access digital materials using the online version of Libby through the Silk browser or download the OverDrive app (for a limited time) through the Amazon Appstore. The OverDrive app is expected to be completely removed from all stores by the end of 2022.

Patrons can borrow 4 items per month. E-card holders and Minor cards will not be able to access R-rated material per Great River Regional Library policy.
