In 2024, Great River Regional Library has two big updates for your library checkouts.
(1) The loan period for DVDs is increasing from a one-week (7-day) checkout to a three-week (21-day) checkout! There is no rush to return your DVD. Instead, the checkout is as long as your book checkout. Enjoy movies and TV shows longer! This increase provides consistency to loan periods for all items (except Lucky Day).

(2) Renewals increase from two to three times! Patrons may renew their items up to three times if they are not on hold for another patron. Sometimes, we need a bit longer to finish a book - we get it! If no one is in line waiting, renew again to extend your checkout period.
