Ask A Librarian!

Nonprofit Library Resources

Great River Regional Library (GRRL) offers a wealth of information resources and professional assistance to the nonprofit community of central MN.

Whether you’re working to establish a nonprofit organization or enhance the services of an existing one, we have a wide variety of helpful supportive services.

Tax Information Resources

Preprinted income tax forms and booklets will not be available at Great River Regional Library locations for the 2019-2020 tax season.

The late release of printed forms from both the Federal and State level, difficulties in obtaining the most frequently requested forms and instructions, and the move toward electronic tax filing have persuaded the library that it is no longer a service it should offer.

Libraries are designated as acceptable locations in which many tests may be taken, and library staff within GRRL provide this service on request.

Any student wanting this service should verify that the guidelines and conditions are acceptable to the test giving institution. There is a $10 charge per test, the student is responsible for any incidental costs, and the library reserves the right to refuse to proctor any exam too burdensome or exacting in its demands.
