FAQs: Library Cards

How do I renew my library card?

To renew your library card, you may stop in at any Great River Regional Library location, use the online renewal form, or call your local library. Renewing your library card is free.

Library cards expire every three years and eCards every year. This allows Great River Regional Library to keep patron information up to date. If your card is expired, you will be unable to log into your account online or access the digital library until the card is renewed.

What if my library card is lost or stolen?

Please immediately report a lost or stolen library card so that no one is able to use your card to check out materials in your name. You can contact any of our locations in person or by phone, or email us using the online contact form.

Please note that you may be held responsible for materials that are lost or overdue on your account. If you suspect fraudulent use of your card, contact us immediately.
