Great River Regional Library Sartell Locker System Operational

SARTELL, Minn. (October 6, 2017) – In an effort to enhance access to library materials in a convenient location, Great River Regional Library (GRRL) is pleased to announce that the GRRL2GO locker system is up and running at the Sartell Community Center.

On-site GRRL equipment includes the 44-locker system, a payment kiosk for fines and renewals and a book drop.

Requested items will be delivered to the lockers each Tuesday. Books returned to the drop box will be collected Tuesday-Friday.

The system, provided by Bibliotheca + 3M, is the first in the state of Minnesota. The equipment has real-time communication with the GRRL library management system. It also comes with a user-friendly touchscreen interface for patrons to use when accessing the system.

Funding for the locker system comes from the city of Sartell as part of a 3-year pilot project. This project is an enhancement to regional library services already used by Sartell residents through GRRL branch libraries in other cities.

The library locker system will be open every day, 7 a.m.-9 p.m. during the community center’s hours of operation.

Anyone with questions about GRRL programs or events is encouraged to visit griver.org or call 320-650-2500.
