Great River Regional Library seeking firm to assist with fund development
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (December 27, 2017) - Great River Regional Library (GRRL) is now accepting quotations from firms who could assess the organization's current fund development functions and identify opportunities for expanding private support.
GRRL is a consolidated regional public library system providing services to the 480,000 residents in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright counties. GRRL manages libraries in 32 cities across the six-county area.
Description of work
This fund development audit should examine GRRL’s case for support, trends and opportunities with the current donor base, sources of funding, systems & processes, policies & procedures, the role of staff and the library board, perceptions from current donors and donor communications. The audit would identify key recommendations related to GRRL's case for support, the potential for corporate support, communications, moves management, annual campaign, major gifts, policies & procedures and staffing & systems. All data used to complete the audit is subject to Minnesota Data Practices statutes governing public libraries.
Quotation requirements
Quotes should include a narrative letter describing the firm, description of the firm's particular approach and methods to complete project tasks, identification of consultant staff or subcontractors who will be responsible for carrying out the specific tasks, prior experience, and client references. Firms should submit a fee schedule with the cost of services.
Each quotation must include the entire cost to perform the services outlined. Please identify the total “not to Exceed” cost for completing the individual tasks included in the quotation. GRRL reserves the right to request additional information regarding the quotation or work samples prior to selecting a firm.
Selection criteria
GRRL will select a firm for this project based on cost, evaluation of firm’s ability to meet the terms and requirements, general reputation and experience of the firm, the nature and extent of company data furnished with the quotation or any time prior to award, financial responsibility of the firm, quality of product or service, satisfactory evidence of work experience and performance history.
GRRL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations. GRRL also reserves the right to negotiate with one or more firms or individuals responding to this RFQ.
Timeline
The GRRL fund development audit recommendations should be completed by May 4, 2018. The selected firm will commit to completing the project by the due date.
