The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Athletes will compete in sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating in the snowy mountains and on the ice. Kids can celebrate by logging their reading and earning Olympic-inspired badges throughout January and February.
While teens and adults participate in the Winter Reading Challenge, kids can join the Winter Olympics Reading Challenge to build a habit of reading while achieving goals. Winter Olympics Reading Challenge is for ages 0 to 11 and will be available from January 2 to February 28, 2026.
