Calling all teen artists!
Each branch of Great River Regional Library (GRRL) is holding an art contest for a teen bookmark! Artists ages 13 to 19 are invited to submit their original bookmark designs!
There will be one winner for each of our 32 locations. Only one submission per person. One of the 32 winning designs will be chosen as the regional winner and will be printed and displayed at all locations. Artwork will be judged based on creativity, design, and how well the message of “Explore...Learn...Connect...” is communicated.
The contest will run from August 1-31, 2022. Deadline is August 31, 2022, no late submissions will be accepted.
CONTEST GUIDELINES:
Teens living in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, or Wright Counties may participate. For hand-drawn submissions, get a paper form at your library or download the Bookmark Template. Artwork must be 3.25” w x 8” h and be on plain white paper (no notebook or lined paper). Artwork can be hand-drawn or computer illustrated. If a computer illustrated design, save as a jpg or pdf file at a resolution of 300 dpi. Artwork will not be returned and will become the property of GRRL. Select pieces may be hung on display at the library to showcase the talent of our teens. Teens must include their name, home library, phone number (so we can contact the winner), and current age. Winning designs will be posted on www.griver.org and social media.
