Fall Legacy Events

Join us for fall programs, made possible by Minnesota's Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds!

Paper Plains

You're invited to learn papermaking with Paper Plains! Like a free food-truck for art, Paper Plains rolls into town and is available for anyone to try a new craft. Participants make paper that's embedded with native prairie seeds. Whether it hangs on the fridge or gets planted in the garden, the paper you make is yours to keep. For all ages, though young children will need assistance from an adult.  No registration is required!

Mobile Sign Shop

Make your own carved sign—you draw on a wooden sign blank, we carve it with a router, and you paint it! Two artists will be on hand to facilitate this three-hour drop-in outdoor event. Online registration is preferred, as there are a limited amount of signs available. If any signs remain, first come, first serve. This event is for all ages, but young children will need adult assistance. (Click on event location below to register online or call the library to register!)
