Elmer the Elephant will spark children’s imagination and creativity during Waite Park Public Library's storytime Thursday, June 12. Participants will create a costume inspired by Elmer’s patchwork colors to wear in the Waite Park Family Fun Fest Parade Saturday, June 14. The Thursday storytime from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. is open to children 4-12. The parade starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, and lineup begins at 10:30 a.m. outside the library. Children walking in the parade must be accompanied by an adult (one adult per child). Register for the storytime at our online events calendar or call the library at 320-253-9359.
