Artist Mary La Patka is exhibiting her botanical watercolors at the Paynesville Library during the month of August. Mary's art combines a love of drawing, watercolor painting, science, and nature. Through her art, Mary says she "strives to play a positive role in enriching lives, promoting ecological awareness, and educating others." Mary is a 2022 recipient of a Legacy grant for the Creative Support of Individuals, given by the Minnesota State Arts Board.
The exhibit will next move to the Kensington Bank Gallery in Willmar for viewing through the month of September.
