Home grown community art is brightening the walls of the Paynesville Public Library. Local artist (and programming star) Jen Anfinson suggested Art In The Park to Paynesville Library Services Coordinator Gretchen Vork. "We worked with the Chamber of Commerce to include it in their first-ever 'Art In The Park' event June 11," Gretchen writes. "The canvases were designed to fit in the library's children's area, and dozens of people (children and adults) contributed." Gretchen played her harp to provide ambience for the event. The library has been highly visible the first weeks of summer break. The library had a roller-coaster (K'nex) booth at the same event at the Art In The Park. IT sponsored a Felt Fido craft project on the library lawn, and also had a Karaoke Night and an outdoor movie showing.
