2026 Library Card Design Contest

Calling creative minds! Want to see your design on library cards?

Great River Regional Library (GRRL) is hosting an art design contest for a new library card during the month of June 2026! There will be four winners, one winner from each category: youth (ages 0-12), teen (ages 13-19), adult (ages 20+), and library staff. Anyone living in the six-county area that GRRL serves may enter.

There can be only one submission per person. GRRL staff will select the winners. The artwork will be judged on creativity, design, and how well it communicates the message "Why do you love your library?" Winners will be notified by phone. Submissions will also be posted online at griver.org and on social media.

Contest guidelines: Anyone living in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright Counties may participate in this art contest for newly designed GRRL library cards by youth, teens, adults, and staff. One winner in each category will be selected. This form with your design may be submitted as a hard copy in person at your local GRRL location or sent by mail. Digital forms with designs may be submitted by email to communications@grrl.lib.mn.us. For mail, please send to: Great River Regional Library, Attn: Library Card Contest, 1300 West St. Germain Street, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
