Notify library staff as soon as possible if an item becomes damaged or is lost. Some damaged items may be mended, but otherwise you will have to pay for the cost of the damaged or lost item plus a $6 processing fee. Great River Regional Library does not accept replacement copies of items. However, if a lost item is later found, please return it to your local library and the cost of the item may be refunded.
Please note: Items not returned after 45 days will be marked as “lost” and a bill will be sent. If the item is not returned and all late fees are not paid within the following 21 days, the account may be referred to the collection agency.
