Notify library staff as soon as possible if an item becomes damaged or is lost. Some damaged items may be mended, in which case charges may not be applied.
If the item is damaged beyond repair or lost, patrons are charged the cost of the item. Great River Regional Library does not accept replacement copies of items. Refunds are no longer available for items later found and returned. If you've damaged an item and paid for it, you may keep it.
Please note: Items not returned or renewed after 45 days will be marked as “lost” and a bill will be sent. If the item is not returned and all late fees are not paid within the following 30 days, the account may be referred to a collection agency.
