Library Card Online Application

Fill out this form to get a Great River Regional Library eCard. Library eCards are free to Great River Regional Library residents. eCards give you limited access to digital library services, including requesting library materials online. Please allow up to two business days for your online application to be verified.


 

If you would like to check out books, DVDs, or more, bring your ID and proof of address to any of the 32 GRRL libraries to update your account. Please note that GRRL2Go in Sartell is not a full service branch library. If you apply online, you will be asked for identification when you come in to pick up your library card. If the address on your ID is not current, you will need to bring some proof of residency.

GRRL Cardholder Responsibilities:

  • Cardholders need to immediately report lost or stolen cards, and should tell the library if contact information changes. Cardholders are responsible for paying all charges assessed on this card. Accounts with $25.00 or more in charges are submitted to a collection agency.
  • The library is not responsible for any damages to personal equipment when using library items.


In accordance with Minnesota Statute 13.40 Subd. 2. Certain information you provide is private. In order to borrow library materials, you must provide your legal name, date of birth and address. Other than your name, this information is available only to you and appropriate library personnel. All GRRL records relating to items checked out, services or programs used are private, however it must be released pursuant to a court order or request by MN state or legislative auditor. In addition, data may be shared with another agency in pursuit of unreturned materials or excessive charges. Also pursuant to state statute, minors have the right to request that parental access to private data be denied.
