Clearwater Settles Into New, Larger Space

The Clearwater Public Library moved to new premises at 740 Clearwater Center in June, and celebrated with a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, July 21. The new premises are very close to the old library building in the same commercial center. It has easy access and plenty of parking. The move has provided additional space that can be used for meetings, programming and more shelving. On hand for the ribbon cutting were Library Aide Michele Butterfield-Juip, Regional Supervisor Jami Trenam, Library Advisory Board Chair Kelly Ashton, GRRL board member and Wright County Commissioner Pat Sawatzke, library supporter Don Hemming, Clearwater Mayor Lee Monk, Director Kirsty Smith, GRRL board member Louise Kuester, Clearwater Branch Manager Cyrene Bastien, Branch Assistant Wanda Phelps, Clearwater City Council member Gary Phelps.
