Events
GRRL libraries schedule a variety of programs for teens and pre-teens, including anime/manga clubs, author talks, and programs to encourage creativity. These programs are listed in our events calendar.

LearningExpress Library - Practice tests for GED, GRE, SAT, ACT, civil service exams and citizenship, ESL courses for Spanish-speakers, Advanced Placement practice exams, Job and Career Help Center and practice for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language.)
Points of View Reference Center - Points of View Reference Center is a full text database designed to provide students and schools with a series of controversial essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. For students it includes help for outlining an essay, writing an essay, and citing sources. For teachers it offers, among other features, the Lexile Framework which shows targeted reading levels for items located.
DISCovering Collection - Designed for students grades 8-12, this database includes literary criticisms, timelines, primary source documents, audio and video clips, maps, images, flags and more.
GreenFILE - GreenFILE indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. This resource offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the environment. Drawing on the connection between the environment and disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology, GreenFILE serves as an informative resource for anyone concerned about the issues facing our planet. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well.
