Financial Literacy Challenge

April is Financial Literacy Month

Looking to focus on your finances? Join the Financial Literacy challenge on Beanstack to earn online badges as you learn about budgeting, saving, and more!

As a part of Financial Literacy Month, GRRL is taking on challenges for teens and adults! There are two different challenges on the Beanstack Tracker - one for teens (ages 12 - 19) and adults (18+).

The teen challenge is about the basics of personal finance. Here are some of the topics that are covered:

  • your first job;
  • education beyond high school;
  • basic budgeting;
  • saving and investing tips.

The adult challenge takes a deeper dive into personal finance. Some of the topics in the adult challenge include:

  • tackling debt;
  • building healthy financial habits;
  • frugality;
  • saving and investing for the future.

Librarians have curated a book list on the topic of money and personal finance.

Great River Regional Library's Financial Literacy Challenge will be available from April 1 to 30, 2022.
