FAQs: Computers & Internet

How do I request use of the internet computers?

You may call your local Great River Regional library to reserve a computer time. You will need to have your library card number to make a reservation. To sign-on to a public internet computer, you will need your library card number and PIN. If your card is expired, you will need to renew it in order to use a computer. Adult patrons who have fines on their account will be asked to pay their fines in full before renewing their library card.

How much does it cost to make a copy or print from the computer?

The cost for copies or prints is 10 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color. Charges are per printed side, so a double-sided copy or print will be 20 cents for black and white and $1.00 for color.

You can print while using a GRRL public access computer, or use our Print2Go service by uploading prints from inside the library, at home... wherever is convenient for you. Simply stop in at any GRRL library within 24 hours of uploading your items so that staff can print your item/s.
