Delano public library services and curbside pickup hours will temporarily change Friday, July 3 through Friday, July 17. The library’s carpet is sixteen years old, and the time has come to update it. Exterior renovations will also be occurring during this period which may result in limited access to our drive up book return. Thank you for your patience while the facility is receiving needed renovations.
Staff will be in the building to assist patrons during the following times:

The city of Delano is responsible for the maintenance of the library facility. In the last year they have invested in: new toilets, updating the front door locking system, painting the interior of the building, updating lighting in the south side of building for better energy efficiency and viewing of collection, replacing the rotten wood of the exterior façade, and the new carpet project. The city of Delano has also assisted Great River Regional Library’s Covid-19 operating plan by installing Plexiglas panels at the circulation desk, and adding sanitation stations in the library.
