Library patrons become abstract artists in Big Lake

Check these out!

The Big Lake Library hosted a "Poured Line Art on Thursday, March 7th.

The class featured a "no-fail" concept that modified techniques of Jackson Pollock. Pollock was a 20th-century abstract impressionist artist that created light, energy and movement in his pieces by dripping, splattering and dragging paint across his canvases. Pollock would lay his canvases on the floor so that he could paint from all angles as he moved around the space.

The group definitely channeled Pollock, had fun and created some neat pieces!
