Big congratulations to our Library Card Design Contest Winners! 

Back in the spring and summer of 2020, GRRL welcomed artists of all ages to submit designs for new library cards! Anyone living in GRRL's service area could by illustrating our next library card. The artwork was judged based on creativity, design, and the library's mission: Explore. Learn. Connect.

Our three winners are from three categories:

  • kids (ages 0-12): Patience, whose home library is in Paynesville
  • teen (ages 13-19): Sophia, whose home library is in St. Michael
  • adult (ages 20+): Amber, whose home library is in Elk River

The design cards are NOW available (while supplies last) in your local library!
For those who sign-up for a library card or have an expired card, you may select your design card upon sign-up. For those who are current library cardholders, you can upgrade your library card for $1 to select a design (that comes with a new barcode). Questions?
