Becker's Dewey Decimal Mural Project Continues...

The Becker Public Library, with the help of local artist Alison Love Unzelman, is gearing up to start work on the next section of the Dewey Decimal System collaborative mural project displayed in the library. The ninth mural will focus on the numbers 900-999, covering the general topics of geography and history. This project is a community effort and the library invites people of all ages (adults, teens and children two and older) to participate. The mural takes the concept of the Dewey Decimal System and brings it to life on the walls of the library.

If you are interested in participating, please call the Becker library at 763.261.4454 for registration information and a complete list of dates and times for specific age groups, or look on the Becker library web page. Space is limited to seven participants per session.

This project is funded in part through Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
