Locations

Every GRRL library has computer workstations that can be reserved for specific times and that are connected to the Internet via the high-speed library network. The library's computer workstations are loaded with the Microsoft Office suite, so that library users may use them for preparing letters, resumes and other documents that can then be printed out at nominal cost on the library's printers.

Contact a branch library to make a reservation.

Services

Each GRRL library has a copy machine available for public use. The machine can print in color, black and white, and also scan and save documents to a USB drive. The cost for printing is per one side of a page. If printing double-sided then the charge will be for 2 copies.

Color: 50 cents ($1.00 for double-sided)

Black and White: 10 cents (20 cents for double-sided)

Scanning:  a USB drive is needed to store the data (depending on availability, branches may have a USB for purchase for $4)

See costing for copies.

Services

All 32 branch libraries in the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) system provide high speed wireless Internet service (WiFi) free of charge. To access WiFi at our libraries, all you need is a wireless-enabled laptop computer or PDA. (Our libraries provide desktop computers, but they do not provide laptop models.) The library's WiFi network is open to all visitors. You may need to move within the library to maximize the WiFi signal.
