Summer Reading Fun At GRRL

The Summer Reading Programs for children and teens are here, and it’s time for fun summer reading. The Great River Regional Library staff has created fun reading lists to help you get started on books that match our summer reading themes. The lists are on the New, Best & Fun page of the library catalog. They have something for everybody, so check them out.

Hey Kids! One World, Many Stories
The children’s program theme is One World, Many Stories. The reading list (just suggestions – read what you like!) includes a variety of books about travel, foreign lands and cultures. Many of them include beautiful illustrations that tell you as much as the text about the places you’ll go.

You Are Here! Teen Summer Reading Program
The teen list of Young Adult titles includes novels set in Italy, India, China, England, the past and the future. Travel around the United States and the World, right from the chair you’re sitting in. You may be here, but your imagination can go there.

Remember to track your reading and turn in your reading records for prize drawings. Good luck, and have a great reading summer!
