Annandale Friends Host Author Dinner Featuring Julie Kramer

Annandale Friends of the Library will be hosting an author dinner featuring Minnesota award-winning author Julie Kramer at Reichel’s Event Center in Annandale on Friday, May 20. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will include orange glazed chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, strawberry almond salad, pickles, rolls, assorted bars and a beverage. Tickets for this event can be purchased at the Annandale Library for $20.

Julie Kramer is moving from being a journalist to a novelist. She writes a mystery series set in the desperate world of television news. It's a world she knows well from her career working as a freelance news producer for NBC and CBS and from running the WCCO-TV I-Team in Minneapolis, where she won numerous national investigative awards. Her thrillers, Stalking Susan, Missing Mark, and Silencing Sam featuring heroine, Riley Spartz, take readers inside how newsrooms make decisions amid chaos. Julie Kramer’s books are available for purchase at the library and will be available at the dinner.
