November Brings Programming Bounty To Paynesville Branch

There's so much to do and see at the Paynesville Public Library this November. Nov. 18 from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. is our pre-school story hour (one week later than usual, as the library will be closed Wednesday Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day). This month's session is all about "Thank you!". You can register your pre-schooler to join in the fun.

Teens can burn off Thanksgiving Day calories with Wii 'Dance Dance Revolution!' from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 (the day after Thanksgiving). Snacks and beverages will be provided; sign up online.

Currently, black-and-white photography prints by Don C. Zimmerman are on display in our picture gallery. They make a striking exhibit. Stop in to check it out, and don't miss Zimmerman's portrait of Ansel Adams!

Paynesville staff, working with Great River Regional Library staff, are working feverishly to get our 'Legacy' funding programming booked. Watch this webpage and our Events Calendar for news about live theater, author visits, concerts, classes, genealogy classes, and programs for kids to be presented, free of charge, at the Paynesville High School Auditorium and cafeteria, and at the Paynesville Public Library over the next eight months.
