Every April the Smithsonian Institution's American history division celebrates the legacy of jazz music in our country.  You can read more about it at this website http://americanhistory.si.edu/smithsonian-jazz/jazz-appreciation-month  This year they are celebrating Jazz beyond borders and what influence jazz has had around the world.  Here's a list of some of those international artists.  


Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter
Description: Joe Zawinul was a keyboardist from Austria. He played with Wayne Shorter on this album and also played with Wayne in the band Weather Report, a jazz fusion group.
