3D pens are coming to the Paynesville Public Library! Every Monday in June, the Paynesville branch will host classes in how to use these unusual pens. Participants can design and create 3-dimensional creations by 'drawing in the air' and bring them home afterward to show family and friends.   We'll have 7Tech 3d pens and filament on hand, and each session will start with brief 'how-to' instructions. Classes will be held Mondays, June 5, 12,19 and 26, 1 to 2 p.m. Ages 10 and up....
Get ready to set the hook; join professional angling guide Tom Kunz for an evening devoted to the world of Minnesota panfish at the Buffalo Library.  Topics will include panfish location strategies, bait selection, best times and days to fish, underwater landforms, catch and release practices and lake health. Kunz will also provide a demonstration on how to properly clean your fish. Exciting news; as of April 27th, audiobooksynch.com is back!  This fantastic free resource puts out two free audiobooks for teens A WEEK over the summer, usually paired with a theme.  The first two books available will be "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, and "The Dead House" by Dawn Kurtagich. Check back every week throughout the summer for these great reads that are perfect for car trips, workouts, and relaxation!

This month, you can leave the library with a stack of books, music and movies...and not need to bring them back. The Friends of the Becker Library is getting ready for the annual spring book sale. You can find the book sale in the meeting rooms of the Becker Community Center on these days: Thursday, April 27th from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, April 28th from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 29th from 9 a.m.-noon. Friends of the Upsala Public Library have graciously funded three book kits for Great River Regional Library. The kits are Breaking Stalin’s Nose by Eugene Yelchin, The Girl From the Train by Irma Joubert and Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys.     Breaking Stalin’s Nose follows a young boy growing up in Stalinist Russia who learns what Communism means to his family, his neighbors and his country. The Girl From the Train tells a story from World War II in which a man...
