Our secret is out - the St. Cloud Public Library is haunted. More specifically, the three study rooms in the teen area are haunted: by a paranoid madman, a spectral reader, and a maniacal scientist. They've been locked in a vault in the basement, until now. Through strange, Halloween cosmic forces these ghosts have been released and are taking up residence in our teen study rooms. Central Minnesota Legal Services is now offering a free legal advice clinic to assist low income persons with matters of family and/or estate and probate law. Advice clinics will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the St. Cloud Public Library from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. The next clinic will be Tuesday, Oct. 28. Preregistration is required. Come on down to the St. Cloud Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to learn how to download library books to a Kindle Fire. Also learn what other applications are available for use with the device. Attendance is limited to 10, and preregistration is requested. Kids! Teens! Mad scientists! Come to the St. Cloud Public Library any time on Monday, June 23 to build the robot of your dreams. We'll supply the building materials, you supply the imagination. These masterful creations of duct tape, paper towel tubes, and paper plates will be on display at the library from June 23 through July 5. The Twin Rivers Bella Corda is a Classical Guitar Ensemble of talented high school and junior high guitarists from all over Central MN that rehearse weekly.
