"Something To Do" Week @ Paynesville Library December 27 - 30.

Join us at the Paynesville Public Library for a week of 'something to do!'

The kids have the week off from school, and cold weather can keep everyone inside, so why not stop in to the library for fun, games and crafts.  We'll provide the supplies and toys (AND clean up the mess afterwards!). Stop in any time during the times listed below.

  • Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Captain Underpants Day!  We'll have games (Underwear Fling, Toilet Seat Beanbag Toss), color sheets and a scavenger hunt
  • Wednesday Dec. 28, 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Explore and learn with Snap Circuits and kaleidescopes.
  • Thursday Dec. 29, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Paper Crafts!  We'll supply scissors, paper, glue, markers, crimpers and other specialty paper-crafting supplies. You provide the ideas and inspiration for the masterpiece of your choice.
  • Friday Dec. 30, 2:30 to 7:00 p.m.: Legos and K'nex! Use your imagination to build something amazing, or take one of our Maker-challenges.

We'll also have board games, puzzles and color sheets (and crayons, markers and colored pencils).

All activities are open to all ages, but children under the age of five must have a parent or guardian assisting them with some activities. (Teens and 'Grown-ups' are welcome to join in.)  No registration required.
