Read for the Summer with GRRL!

No more pencils, no more books … well, except for the ones from your local library!

It's Summer Reading Program time!

The theme of this year’s program "It’s Showtime at Your Library" celebrates the whimsy, magic and excitement kids can discover just by picking up a book.

This program is self-directed, open to all kids, ages 0-18, and is divided into three categories: baby (ages 0-5), child (age 3-grade 6) or teen (grades 7-12.) Ages 3-5 can choose between the baby or child programs.

Want to register? Teens can register in person at the library or online, and all other age groups must register in-person. Participants will receive reading records to track their progress. These reading records must be completed and returned to the library by the end of the program in order to be eligible for prize drawings. Each branch offers a unique assortment of SRP prizes!

The Summer Reading Program runs through Saturday, August 10.

GRRL is hosting many Summer Reading Program kickoff events around the region, including magic shows, ice cream socials, live music and more. Learn more by visiting the events calendar on griver.org/events or by picking up an event guide at any GRRL branch.
