Monticello Library invites children ages 0-12 to come and visit our Gnome House! Our summer reading program, "Dig into Reading" runs June 10 through Aug. 10. Children can sign up for the program at the Gnome House, search for our hiding gnome in the library, and have fun at our Look and Find. Mystery author William Kent Krueger will speak at the Monticello Public Library on Thursday, May 16, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Krueger writes a mystery series set in the north woods of Minnesota. His protagonist is Cork O'Connor, part Irish and part Ojibwe. The thirteenth book in the series is scheduled for release in August 2013.
