All teens are welcome to submit up to two entries in the Teen Poetry Contest at the Little Falls Public Library - Carnegie Library during April. The Little Falls Carnegie Library is offering a program about Native American Beadwork on Saturday, March 24, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Julie Kastigar Boada of the Fond du Lac nation will introduce the art of beading to children ages 6 to 12. Learn how patterns and colors can reflect tribal and family affiliations, then create your own beadwork. Sewing experience is helpful.
About 60 children and adults attended Rusty’s Rockin’ Jamboree on the lawn in front of the Little Falls Carnegie Library on Monday, June 13, the first day of the 2011 Summer Reading Program. Rusty mixes comedy, some well known songs and a few of his own compositions to entertain the crowds. The Little Falls Carnegie Library is hosting a program titled "Return to Honor" on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. It is being presented by CLIMB Theatre from the Twin Cities. The play is about 40 minutes long and is especially good for families. As with all library programs this event is free.
