Children had a great time learning about journals and creating their own in a program at the Little Falls Carnegie Library.
Staff provided books for children to look through as well as samples of different kinds of journals (historical, nature, etc.). They also discussed the historical importance of journals such as the one kept by Holocaust victim Anne Frank, and journals from the American pioneer days which enable us to learn about life during those times. After discussion, the kids put together their own journals and then decorated them. They were very creative and they had such a good time!
