Hopper the Frog joined a group of twelve children attending a Leap Into Reading storytime at the Howard Lake Public Library on Wednesday, April 18. The group listened attentively to froggy stories, sang songs, made fun frog masks, and then checked out books to take home. Leap Into Reading is a statewide initiative to encourage reading and reading readiness among young children. Storytime was led by Branch Assistant Sarah Seeley, who usually works at the Buffalo library. She will lead a Leap Into Reading storytime in Buffalo Wednesday, April 25.
