Please complete our programming survey and help us decide what kind of Legacy programs to provide in the coming year. Our short survey asks what kind of events or programs you enjoy, how often you attend library programs, and what kind of event you would be most likely to attend.
Minnesota’s Legacy amendment was approved by voters in 2008. It takes a small portion of sales tax revenue to support arts, arts education and arts access, and to preserve Minnesota’s history and cultural heritage. Library Legacy programs are supported through the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund which distributes Legacy revenue.
Here are some examples of previous Legacy programs at Great River Regional Library:
Crafting instruction (jewelry making, knitting, weaving)
Historical enactments (voyageur, Civil War soldier)
Presentations by writers of fiction and non-fiction
Feel free to add your own programming ideas on the survey.
Thanks for your help!
