January and February will see several new programs with an artistic theme, and for those looking to add fitness to their routine, we have a new Yoga Storytime class. Also, the ongoing event of 1,000 books before Kindergarten continues in 2019. Library storytimes will also be happening Fridays in January and February from 10:30-11am. Bookworms, it could just be your lucky day … but you won’t know it unless you visit the Big Lake Library. Lucky Day is a new Great River Regional Library program meant to give library users immediate access to some of the newest and most popular titles… without having to wait. Hear ye, hear ye! There has been issued a royal decree that all maidens and sirs are hereby invited to Princess Storytime at the Big Lake Public Library! The Big Lake Library was a lively spot on Thursday, June 22 as folks celebrated Spudfest! Attendees competed in a good old-fashioned cake walk, listened to the RSVP Readers Theatre and sang/danced to the sounds of the Flemming Fold. Thanks to everyone who came out and made the celebration a success.
