On Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. author and appraiser Mark Moran, who has written over 25 books on antiques and collectibles and has appeared on the PBS "Antiques Roadshow" program, will be at the Belgrade library. He will evaluate your items and help you learn more about the history of your own personal objects. Limit one object per person, limit 40 items. Join us at the Belgrade Library on Friday, April 15 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to hear author Annelee Woodstrom describe her years growing up in Hitler's Germany. As a child she saw her share of horror - the carnage left after bombings, homeless children struggling to survive in the streets, and the survivors of a concentration camp not far from her hometown. Do you want to find your roots, but don't know where to begin? Come to the Belgrade Public Library to learn hands-on how to use free library and Internet resources to further your family tree.
