November is Alzheimer Awareness month. Join Tami Kolbinger in an informal, 45 minute presentation at the Becker Public Library that includes information on dementia, concentrating on communication and some of the "do's and don'ts" in dealing with people with dementia. The presentation will take place on Thursday, Nov. 17, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Interaction with the presenter is encouraged during the presentation so that the information is understood. Tami Kolbinger, presenter of this event, is a "Dementia Champion" and helped form the ACT program in Becker. Caregivers, families and general public are encouraged to attend. For adults. No registration is required. Sponsored in part by the ACT on Alzheimer's of Becker and the Friends of the Becker Library.
